Aer Lingus Rugby 2024

Brief: Following on from the success of the 2023 sponsorship Aer Lingus wanted to create another suite of player centred social content and out of home, along with a brand centred piece to kick off the sponsorship for 2024.

They wanted to extend their new brand positioning (You're very welcome) through the sponsorship platform (bringing home advantage wherever we play) with a brand film that shows they understand the person behind the passenger, with a unique rugby angle.

Response: We developed a brand story focused on the people who make home advantage possible - the ones who don't get to see home games because they are busy working at them, enabling us fans to enjoy the moment and support the team - We establish that Aer Lingus is someone who appreciates these people, and wants to give them the chance to be fans too at crucial away games.

We also executed a content shoot with the Irish Rugby players at their training facility to develop social content and captured updated photography of the players for year 2 of our key visual.
